When do doors open for an event at the Silverdome?
Doors typically open an hour before show time or game time. On special occasions doors may open up to 2 hours before an event. Check your tickets for door times for your event. It is always best to arrive early to avoid the rush.
Can I bring in my own food and beverage?
Outside food and beverages are not allowed to be brought into the stadium for any event. We encourage patrons to visit the Ultimate Sports Bar, with a view of the stadium, or one of our concessions stands conveniently located in the Silverdome for a variety of food options. There are also many restaurant options available in the area surrounding the Silverdome for dining before or after an event.
Is smoking allowed in the building?
Smoking is not allowed inside the Silverdome. In observance of the “no smoking” law, which went into effect May 1, 2010, guests, employees, and visitors are required to comply with the new Michigan law. It is illegal to smoke or use tobacco products anywhere within the Silverdome including in its restaurant and bar areas, suites, and restrooms. If you would like to smoke while attending an event at the stadium, there are several exits marked as designated smoking areas.
Where can I park?
Parking is on site on a first come first served basis and typically opens 2 hours prior to an event. Parking fees are $10 for cars, $20 for limos and $30 for buses. Parking fees may vary by event.
What can NOT be brought into the Silverdome?
In the interest of our guest’s safety, the following items may not be brought into the Silverdome:
*Alcohol
*Bottles, cans or any liquid containers of any kind
*Food
*Video and sound recording devices
*Cameras with tripods or telescoping lenses
*Weapons of any kind
*Patrons without shoes or shirts are not permitted to enter
*Large strollers (umbrella strollers only) subject to change
